Iran, Here We Come

So I was reading an article a few minutes ago, and it’s gotten me depressed.
“Over the weekend, a report published in The New Yorker said that Congress had authorized $400 million for commando operations in Iran. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards issued a statement saying it would bombard Israel if the country were attacked and move to cut off the Strait of Hormuz one of the main oil passageways in the Persian Gulf.”
As I’ve mentioned, I have a dream of one day becoming a politician, senator to be specific, and I just couldn’t believe this. I’m Pro-War, just not this war. I think the reasons we are in Iraq and Afghanistan have become too clouded and we are best to find a way to exit gracefully. But now Iran? I can’t see any way this could be a good thing. The only solace I, as a Republican, can find is that you can no longer blame one man for this atrocity, but 535 men.
